I am a senior in high school and I am beginning my college search. I am planning on doing premed and WashU is one of my top choices. I heard it has a highly competitve atmosphere and that the students don't have much time to do anything else besides studying to ensure they pass their classes. So what is the atmosphere truly like and are premeds capable of studying AND having a stable social life (including partying, clubs/organizations, going out into the city, and volunteering)? Basically, will I be able to have the entire "college experience"?
Feedback would be greatly appreciated.
